The team behind the Olympic Studios cinema in West London launched the intimate and independent Archlight Cinema in March 2019, filling a gap for an area seen in films from Help! to The Dark Knight. Comfy reclining seats and individual tables create an indulgent experience, with cocktails, homemade popcorn and posh treats available. Capacity is modest at 39-58 seats per screen, but the theatres punch above their weight with Dolby Atmos surround sound and laser projection. The Arches also hosts outdoor screenings on Coaling Jetty, where you can soak up classic and recent blockbusters on a deckchair by the Thames. A Film Club membership gets you four comps, discounts and more, and the cinemas are available for hire.
