About Broadway Cinema Nottingham

Contact & About

A short walk from Nottingham’s Lace Market, the Broadway is a hipster hotspot to catch blockbusters, classics, arthouse favourites, talking-point documentaries and beyond. Capacity ranges from 60 to 248 across four screens, one of which received a modern makeover from fashion guru Paul Smith in 2006. Then, in 2019’s £390,000 refurbishment, the seats were reupholstered in the designer’s famous big-stripe design. The renovation project also included 7.1 sound upgrades, hearing loops and 4K projection in screens one and two. Located on the site of a former church, the Broadway attracts a broad congregation, including children and teenagers participating in its holiday workshops, perhaps hoping to one day join the ranks of local hero Shane Meadows – himself a Broadway visitor.
