Situated within a new-build development in London’s East End, a short walk from Aldgate East tube station, this is one of the more recent additions to the Curzon chain. Opened in 2017, it offers a thoroughly modern cinema experience. Filmgoers are welcomed into a stylish open-plan lounge area supplied by a well-stocked bar and kitchen – perfect for a quiet place to work throughout the day or a relaxed pre-movie meal. When it comes to the films, there are four modestly sized screening rooms, all featuring contemporary decor and big, comfy seats with tables, while the programme offers a decent mix of Hollywood and arthouse fare.
