Suffolk's oldest surviving purpose-built cinema, the Leiston Film Theatre (originally called the Leiston Picture House) boasts a comfortable 252-seat auditorium and modern amenities housed in old world charm. It survived near closure in the 1970s, saved by the Leiston Town Council, and today offers cutting-edge digital projection and sound.
