Found among the cobbled streets of Glasgow’s West End, the Grosvenor is a wee cinema with a rich and storied history. Originally opened in May 1921, it has since been refurbished a number of times, with its latest incarnation comprising two luxury-leather-seated screening rooms, a cocktail bar/restaurant, and an in-house café.
This last feature might be the Grosvenor’s most impressive, as both its island bar and mezzanine level are situated beneath the original 1920s auditorium ceiling, gloriously arching and fully restored.
