The Hippodrome was opened on 11 March 1912, and is Scotland's oldest purpose-built picture house. Today offers new and vintage releases in a state-of-the-art auditorium, with accompanying cafe and bar. “If a cinema could give you a hug, this is what it would feel like" –Sight & Sound.

Getting Here, Map & Parking

There is plenty of free car parking near The Hippodrome. The closest free parking is at the Bo'ness Town Centre car parks at Seaview Place, Register Street, and Union Street.

If you're bussing in, there are First Edinburgh bus services to Bo'ness from Edinburgh, Linlithgow, Bathgate, Falkirk, Stirling, Cumbernauld and Glasgow.

By train, get off at Linlithgow, which is served by trains from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling/Dunblane.
