About HOME Manchester

Contact & About

With its impressive, ultra-modern tinted-glass facade towering over the open plaza of Tony Wilson Place, HOME is hard to miss. Created in 2015 from the £25 million merger of the beloved Cornerhouse cinema and the Library Theatre Company, it is much more than a picture house: it is a creative arts hub comprising two theatres, five cinema screens, an art gallery, three food-and-drink spaces and a bookshop, and it’s already regarded as one of Manchester’s crown jewels.

Those five auditoriums vary in size, from a cosy 33-seater to the more expansive 227-seat main screen, with its programming taking in foreign-language films, classics and new releases.
