Built in 2011, this is Newquay's only purpose-built cinema. The Lighthouse Newquay has served as a regional premier location for numerous screenings, film festivals, and more. It also serves as a venue for live events such as comedy nights. The four screens all are equipped with state-of-the-art NEC projection and Dolby 7.1 digital sound, while screens 1 and 4 are 3D capable. There is also disability access to each.
Getting Here, Map & Parking
The Lighthouse Cinema Newquay is situated off Crantock & King Street, 50 yards from the pedestrianised area of Bank Street. Pay & Display car parks are nearby at St George’s Road, Mount Wise, The Bowling Green, and Tregunnel.
The theatre is a very short distance from the town centre bus station and a short walk from the train station, which is at the opposite end of the town centre.
