New Carlton Okehampton

The New Carlton, part of the Merlin Cinemas group, opened in 2006 and is riding high, with a new 41-seater third screen added in 2019. The main screen seats 160, while the luxury 70-seat Carlton Suite accommodates 70 on relaxing leather sofas and armchairs. There’s a licenced bar and you can treat yourself to a full range of confectionary, snacks and drinks as well as local ice cream. The calendar includes all the latest blockbuster releases, with a host of independent and lower-budget films screening alongside international live-streamed concerts, ballets and opera.
