About Picturehouse Greenwich

Contact & About

Greenwich Cinema opened in 1989 as a utilitarian concrete monster. Picturehouse acquired it in 2005, giving it a luxury revamp that embraced the site’s maritime heritage. This meant opening up scenic views of historic Greenwich through its glass curtain wall and creating a roomy bar area and galley restaurant with a rustic feel. A balanced offering of the best commercial, world and arthouse cinema is presented across five screens, ranging from 50 to 175-seaters, all comfortable, wheelchair accessible and with good support for visual and hearing impairment, as well as regular autism- and dementia-friendly screenings. Friendly, knowledgeable staff may tempt you with an excellent members’ package of free tickets, special screenings and festival events.
