Queen's Film Theatre Belfast

Since opening in 1968, the Queen’s Film Theatre (known as the QFT) has become a staple of Belfast’s cultural life and an internationally respected independent cinema. Part of Queen’s University, the QFT shows mostly independent and world films across its two screens. It’s also the only cinema in Northern Ireland to have a licensed bar. The QFT serves as a host for several Belfast festivals, and recently also started partnering with the BFI London Film Festival to show selected premieres.
