Crime story / thriller about crooked NYPD cops with great names. Jack Mosley (Bruce Willis) is a tired, drunk, doggone, NYPD cop who is only given the crap jobs. Now he's assigned the of transporting fast-talking convict Eddie Bunker (Mos Def) from jail to a courthouse 16 blocks away... From director Richard Donner (Lethal Weapon).

Along the way he learns Bunker is to testify against Mosley's colleagues – namely police chief Frank Nugent who is top dog in a drug dealing ring within the department. He wants Bunker dead. Mosley’s wise to the corrupt cops because he is one. But he likes this Eddie Bunker see, and when he shoots another cop to save Eddie’s life, they find themselves on the same side of the law.
