You're early.

We aren’t quite ready for you, we’re still in BETA. We will be tinkering and getting things sorted until about October, when the full glory of Flicks will be ready and present.

Until then movie fan, until then.

When are UK cinemas opening?

Most English cinemas can provisionally reopen from May 17 under stage three of the government’s re-opening plan.

From then, they can have a capacity of up to 1,000 people (of 50% of the venue). Drive-in and outdoor cinemas can reopen under step two – on April 12.

In Scotland, cinemas could open as early as the end of April. Northern Ireland’s has extended its current lockdown, and the current measures are due to be revisited on March 18. Similarly, in Wales, lockdown rules are next due to be reviewed mid-March.

We will update this page with the latest information as it becomes available.
