Barbican London (Cinemas 2 and 3)

Opened in December 2012 just a few minutes’ stroll from the Barbican Centre itself, these two auditoriums replaced the former level-four screens. Essentially conventional but attractive complements to the Barbican’s flagship cinema, the two screens offer decent sightlines and seating for audiences of up to 150 each, as well as a spacious foyer well stocked with snacks and drinks. Programming ranges from big new releases to curated seasons, film festival screenings, talks and family screenings, while both cinemas are available for private events.
