Nestled unassumingly among the shopfronts opposite a petrol station, Everyman’s innocuous exterior belies its offering of comfort and service, with plush red velvet and vintage décor. Screen one is vaulted and wood-clad with 107 premier sofas, individual tables and footrests, projecting Everyman’s usual mix of popular hits in Sony 4K with Dolby Digital, and support for 3D. A second 41-seater offers an intimate setting for smaller releases and private screenings. Similarly priced to the multiplexes, but with VIP treatment and plenty of family-friendly screenings, special Q&A events and live streams, Everyman earns its democratic name. The Spielburger kitchen serves high-end dog-and-burger fare alongside a fun selection of cheeky cocktails and decent wines.
