About Riverside Studios Hammersmith

Contact & About

Where better to house a cinema than a former film studio? The Riverside Studios started out as an iron foundry before transforming into a studio in 1933. Post-war British movies including The Seventh Veil and Father Brown were shot here.

Today, a mix of mainstream and independent flicks are shown in ultra-crisp 4k in the 200-plus capacity main auditorium, and in 2k for 48 people in the smaller screen. Arrived early? The cinema bar is open 30 minutes before the trailers start, serving craft beer (Meantime, Tiny Rebel Clwb) and cocktails with a twist (try the maple Old Fashioned). The Bakery’s toasties make a sophisticated cinema snack.
