It Boy

20-year-old architecture major Balthazar's (Pierre Niney) is the target of 38-year old fashion magazine editor Alice (Virginie Efira) in this May-September romantic comedy from France. When the attention gives Alice some much needed street cred at the office, she awkwardly embraces her new-found cougar reputation.

Alice is a perfectionist. That’s why her boss (Gilles Cohen), isn’t convinced she’s editor-in-chief material, unlike her more playful colleague (Amelie Glenn). Things look up when Alice locates 19-year-old Balthazar (Pierre Niney), a student who sat next to her on the plane back from Brazil and who found her lost USB drive with plans for the mag. There’s a problem: ever since Alice squeezed him to mush during a bout of heavy turbulence, Balthazar is convinced love is in the air. Add to that a photo that makes it seem they’re getting cozy, and suddenly Alice has the reputation of a man-eater. Vincent suddenly sees a rebellious streak in Alice and her prospects improve. With her eye on that promotion, Alice decides to don a black leather jacket and play along, much to the initial amusement of Balthazar, who can’t believe his luck...
