Independent coming-of-age tale sees inexperienced 14-year-old Lila (Gina Piersanti) attempt to match the sexual abandon of best friend Shiara (Giovanna Salimeni) by seducing a guy of her own. Stealing Shiara’s approach, anecdotes and appearance, Lila sets her sights on Sammy (Ronen Rubinstein), a fellow with plenty notches on his belt. The pursuit leads Lila well out of her comfort zone and into risky, uncharted territory. This is the feature debut from writer-director Eliza Hittman.
