Kiefer Sutherland (24), Jason Clarke (Mudbound), and Jake Lacy (The White Lotus) star in this war drama from the late, great William Friedkin, following a naval officer who stands trial for mutiny after taking command from a ship captain he feels was acting in an unstable way, putting in danger both the ship and its crew.
The film is based on the Broadway play of the same name from author Herman Wouk, an adaptation of his own Pulitzer-winning novel The Caine Mutiny, which in turn was made into an Oscar-nominated film starring Humphrey Bogart.
