Aleksandr Ilin

A day in the life of a comic book artist and his family in post-Soviet Russia. While suffering from the flu, Petrov is carried by his friend Igor on a long walk, drifting in and out of fantasy and reality.

Russian, black and white, indecipherable sci-fi epic with a running time of almost three hours. Master director Aleksei German died before completing the film – having spent over 13 years in production – leaving it to his longtime partner Scetlana Karmalita and son Aleksei German Jr to finish the feature.
