Italian filmmaker Federico Fellini's avant-garde classic, winner of Best Foreign Feature at the 1964 Academy Awards. 

An impoverished and naïve young woman, Gelsomina (Giulietta Masina), is sold to a thuggish travelling entertainer, Zampanò (Anthony Quinn, The Don is Dead). The pair traverse the Italian countryside performing together.
