A documentary series that follows big-wave surf pioneer Garrett McNamara on his ten year quest to conquer the fabled 100-foot wave. The doco chronicles McNamara's career and his time in Nazare, Portugal where he helped to convert the small fishing village into one of the world's best big-wave surfing destinations.

Directed by Chris Smith (American Movie), the series also profiles other big-wave surfers, including Andrew 'Cotty' Cotton.

For the surfers competing, challenging conditions and terrifying wipeouts highlight the importance of their relationships with jet ski pilots who are also rescuers.
